We are delighted to launch this new webinar, in partnership with the Royal Literary Fund.
Writing matters. And whether you want to write with confidence at work or at home, this is the workshop for you. The session will be led by the brilliant Clare Shaw, a talented poet, dramatist and author – with multiple publications and a wealth of experience in supporting people to write with clarity and enjoyment.
In this fun and friendly 90-minute webinar, we’ll use fun, creative exercises to help your writing flow. We’ll examine tone, structure and editing, and we’ll learn simple techniques to help you write with positivity and confidence.
The workshop is suitable for people at all levels of writing experience, in all genres of writing. We’ll work in a webinar format, so you do not have to appear on the screen, and you won’t have to share your work.
About the Royal Literary Fund
The Royal Literary Fund (RLF) is a British charity that has been supporting authors since 1790, among them James Joyce, D H Lawrence, Dylan Thomas and Edith Nesbit. It provides grants to writers in financial difficulty: novelists, poets, playwrights, screenwriters and translators.
The RLF also runs education programmes where writers deploy their talents for the wider benefit. Its social sector projects are part of the public education programme, which includes workplace writing development and community-based workshops. Their purpose is to increase confidence and support improvements in the quality and effectiveness of workplace/professional writing.
The RLF’s fellowship scheme funds writers to work one-to-one with university students, and also provides writing development workshops to schools and other community projects to nurture resilience, engagement and empowerment.
