Accreditation

The College of Radiographers currently offers accreditation for Mammography Associates (MA), Assistant Practitioners (AP) and Practice Educators.

Accreditation is an outward sign that you have engaged with continuing professional development (CPD) to meet the professional body expectations associated with your role.

Please use the links below to access further information on each scheme and guidance on how to apply.

CoR Accredited Assistant Practitioners and Mammography Associates are eligible to be added to the CoR Public Voluntary Register of Assistant Practitioners and Mammography Associates. The Voluntary Register is an outward sign that an AP or MA has engaged in appropriate continuing professional development relative to their role.

You can search for an Accredited Assistant Practitioner here

Please note: Whilst the CoR holds accreditation to demonstrate an AP/MA is meeting the College’s high standard relating to CPD there is no legal requirement for an AP to be accredited. CoR accreditation is not an assurance of clinical competence.
